Book Air Flight Online to Shanghai

Diana's Diary, General No Comments

If you wish to book air flight to Shanghai, China from Penang, it cost about RM1,660 via Singapore Airlines and you can book online here at http://singaporeair.com.my. For Malaysian Airlines (MAS) from Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai, the cost is more expensive at RM1,872. You can also book online for MAS through https://www.bookonline-malaysiaairlines.com.my/. Now that you know the prices inclusive of airport tax, you know which airline to book when going to China. I had to check out the price rates as my second sister who is lecturing English in a university in Suchou plans to come to Penang on the 4th August and return on the 18th or 19th August from Penang to Shanghai. By the way Suchou does not have any airport and the nearest one is Shanghai.

I am going to China with my parents in July. We went to the recent MATTA (Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents) fair recently held in PISA (Penang International Sports Arena). The place was very crowded and full of bargain hunters during the 3 day fair. There were many interesting places to visit, namely China. There were about 8 booths for travels to China and I have selected Reliance. Though it was more expensive and double the price of the other tour agents, I guess I have to stick to this schedule and not to cancel my bookings. Otherwise, I will lose the credit payment money for the transaction services and some admin charges. I will make sure that my next trip to anywhere will be checked properly to get the best bargain and value for money.

Transformers Talk

Today, I hope to catch the Transformers debut opening on 28th June 2007 in Malaysia. If you are new to the world of Transformers, here is some information about the robots and popular terms to get you started.

AUTOBOTS – This team of Transformers stand for all that is good in the universe and defend freedom for all that want it. Their goal is to maintain peace in the universe. They have a strong leader in Optimus Prime, but they use teamwork to stop the Decepticons.

CYBERTRON – Cybertron is the home planet of the Transformers. Cybertron itself houses one of the Tranformers inside name PRIMUS, an ancient warrior who made the ultimate sacrifice… he gave up his ability to transform in order to save the universe from Unicron.

DECEPTICONS – A group of Transformers that use their power to destroy anything in their way. Their singular goal is domination…and they will exploit anyone and anything that stands in their way.

MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP – A physical piece that Optimus wears inside his chest cavity. The Matrix of Leadership is the “crown” carried by each Prime…currently Optimus Prime.

MEGATRON – Leader of the Decepticons. Ruthless and cold, Megatron has only one goal, ultimate power and rule over the entire galaxy. Megatron’s very nature was ruthless from the beginning and he chose the name Decepticon to wear as homage to his deceit.

MINI-CONS – Small but powerful Tranformers, mini-cons communicate primarily through actions and sounds. The mini-cons are a peaceful, working race of the Transformers who have both partnered with the Autobots and been enslaved by the Decepticons. In the past, they have made strong bonds with human children, mostly due to their size.

OPTIMUS PRIME – Also called Optimus, he is the leader of the Autobots. Many years ago, the Matrix of Leadership “chose” him to be the next Prime, or leader. He humbly accepted, which changed the course of his life from simple working class ‘bot on Cybertron to leader of the strongest benevolent force in the Universe, the Autobots. When leading his team into battle, Optimus’ signature phrase is “Transform and Rollout!”

When I was a student in Nanyang Technological University, Ken Air Tour Group and many other agents came to my campus to promote tours to the undergraduates. At that time, I was prepared to take up a bank loan to finance my tour to Europe for 31 days. It was a special package just for the cash strapped undergrad students like myself. Since I do not have many other friends, I had to bypass this golden opportunity as well. And until now, I regretted not following my desires and listened to him.

In 1998, I went to USA alone in a tour group. I was hardup for travel and being stressed up in work, I decided to visit USA. And this time, I don’t have to depend on anyone but with money, I splurged on this trip. It cost me about S$5,000 plus total. Though I missed Hawaii during my last trip, my next trip to USA, I will ensure I include Hawaii. For accommodation, you can check out on hawaii oahu vacation rental from HawaiianBeachRentals dot com. Also, don’t forget to check out Hawaii Travel before your visit to Hawaii to get a better understanding of the place.

When I was growing up, my dad used to travel alone and to many places at the end of the year. Being a teacher, he had plenty of holidays with the longest holidays in a row in November and December for 2 whole months. And he took this golden opportunity to travel round the world. He has been to the Unitied States of America, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan, Asia like Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Israel for Holy Tour and a few other places that I don’t recall. I was still a kid at that time. And he went alone in a tour group. My mom didn’t like to tag along, so she stayed at home.

If you run out of ideas where to visit, just check out on Hawaii, a happening place on the globe. There are many types of rental homes for your trip. Just click on Kihei homes from HawaiianBeachRentals dot com. Hawaiian Beach Rentals is a place for you to rest and relax under the sun and the moon. Addicted to Blogging

Diana's Diary, General No Comments

I guess I am addicted to blogging especialy when there are juicy offers of pay to blog programs. Sometimes it is dry spell, other days, there are plenty of offers to take and you will be overwhelmed. It is nice to see income coming in via PayPal from the paid posts. Some of the offers give more payment while others are a minimum of USD5. It is also based on the PR of your web site and it is proportional to the offers. I have been blogging since July 2006 and it was only in middle of October that I began to take sponsored posts. I have not looked back since then and continue to generate part time income from blogging. And the money is in US dollars which converts to 3.4 rate in ringgits currently.

Kailua Home Rental and Instant Noodles

General No Comments

I love food and enjoys good food like Chinese food with plenty of varieties. Whenever possible, I will go try to eat chinese cooked food like vegetarian food, stir-frieds, soups, steamed and other types of cooking. Even when I travel to other countries, I will try familiar foods that I have eaten before like McDonalds, or Kentucky in a fast food chain if they don’t have Chinese food. When to travel to places like Kailua home rental in Hawaii, if you are like me, bring along your instant noodles so that you can eat local food in the hotel and just boil the hot water using their water boiler.

When you stay in Hawaiian Beach Rentals in your next trip overseas, just bring along a few packets of instant noodles. You won’t go hungry. And if you are adventurous, simply try the local Hawaiian food and taste their culture. I am sure they must have some Chinese food somewhere for the international tourists like me.

Back from Kota Bahru

Diana's Diary, General No Comments

Last night, at about 10:00pm, the Firefly plane touched down Penang’s Bayan Lepas International Airport from Kota Bahru. It was a fruitful visit and we stayed in Sutera Inn family room for RM100 a night. When we went there, most of the hotels were full house like Renaissance Hotel and New Pacific Hotel. There was a big shot or someone important who visited Renaissance Hotel, the most classy hotel in Kelantan. We could see many huge police motorbikes accompany the big shot driven in a black S600 Mercedez Benz. Since there were so many policemen accompanying this important minister, we decided to try other hotels for more privacy and not having to avoid so many policemen. With the help of our first client, we managed to get the family room in Sutera Inn, a modest accomodation in Kota Bahru.
