When I was small, I used to collect used and new stamps plus coins and put them into albums. Now I have more than 10 big stamp albums with boxes of repeat stamps. My dad during his tour to Europe also bought me a packet of different coins from the various countries. And I still keep them under my bed. I also have silver coins of Princess Diana from United Kingdom. And the silver price keeps changing in the world economy. Silver is used to make coins, intricate decorations and other stuffs. It is second to gold in the metal market. There are also many investors in silver commodity just like foreign exchange.

As I shall be away tomorrow in Kuala Lumpur, my dad gave me RM40 ang pow plus a birthday card just now for my birthday. It is a simple pink birthday card with meaningful words and he enclosed the money between the card in a red packet. This is the first time he gave us red packets of money for our birthdays starting this year. But I have given him more for 2007 - a handphone for father’s day and a chinese meal treat in a restaurant. Also gave him RM100 ang pow for his birthday in April and also a treat for the family during mother’s day. I guess we have outgrown the birthday cakes and prefer to give sumptious chinese or seafood treats in a restaurant or seaside cafes.

On the 6th of July is my birthday. And I will be going to KL for business trip tomorrow. So looks like I will spend my actual birthday in Kuala Lumpur. It has been a family tradition to treat my family members during my birthday and also on their birthdays. So it is like this. Whoever celebrates their birthday will treat the rest on this special occasion. When I was younger, my dad used to bring back a nice cake with a birthday card. Now that we have outgrown cakes, which adds to the cholesterol level, we decided to dine in good restaurants. I guess when I come back from KL, I plan to treat them lobster thermidor in one of the Chinese restaurant by the beach.

PayPerPost has turn one late in June this year. And it has been a exciting year since this company from USA formed and offered bloggers a chance to earn money while writing the things they love. With crossword puzzles to Oppapalooza and Tuesdays giveaways, PayPerPost has Ted Murphy at the helm to brainstorm fantastic ideas to bring this company to new heights and prosperity. And recently it has gotten USD7 million in venture capital and have given out $700 opportunities without any segmentation. I have been blessed to a a part of this company and have earned more than USD3k since October 2007. Though it may not be as much compared to the top ten earners, but it is still income to my pockets. Why won’t you sign up using the blue badge on the right side of this blog and start leveraging some income? You will never regret it.

My dad just came back with 3 backpacks from Reliance for the trip to China. The backpacks are blue and black in color with the Reliance logo. He has to pay for the insurance which was RM43 per person. The insurance has a wide coverage from AIG Assist. Some of the AIG Assist outstanding benefits and features include the following:
High Medical Expenses Reimbursement up to RM300,000 including your follow-up medical treatment in Malaysia up to RM30,000.
Hospital income pays RM250 for every complete day the insured is hospitalized whilst overseas up to maximum 60 days.
Unlimited medical evaluation and repatriation cover due to accident and illness.
Cancellation benefit covers loss or irrecoverable travel and accommodation expenses paid in advance prior to departure from Malaysia
Personal accident lump sum payment of RM200,000 upon death or total and permanent disablement due to accident
Loss of travel document reimbursement up to RM5,000 for additional accommodation, travel expenses and telecommunication bills.
The above are some of the benefits that I have highlighted and not all are listed there. And the term insurance covers up to 182 days per trip with maximum age limit up to 80 years old. And death from injury resulting in acts of terrorism and hijacking is also covered. This is a comprehensive term insurance policy and since the 911 incident in New York, travel insurance is now more expensive.
