From the picture above, it is clear that China is Asia’s top internet user at 253 million people. This is a whopping figure and considering that Malaysia’s population is about 28.3 million. It is about 9 times more than the number of population in Malaysia. Japan is second at 94 million which is less than half of that in China. India is third at 60 million followed by South Korea. Malaysia is in 9th place with 14.9 million which is about 53% internet penetration rate of the total population.
Many households are still lacking internet connectivity in Malaysia especially in the rural areas, dominated by the Malays. With the cheaper various fast broadband connection being promoted recently, more and more current internet users are upgrading their packages for faster speed so that there is no interruption in viewing videos online via YouTube or other sites. I am still using the same Streamyx TM Net broadband unlimited connection for the past 5 years already. What about you?

This is not a fair graph. You should have done it as ‘what perecntage of the population’ in each country use the internet. Of course China will have a much higher user rate as they have the largest population in the world!
Fine, I’ll bookmark your website, so I can come back and read more. Nice!
