What can I say? I am a sucker for old movies especially ones that have Cary Grant in them. And ever since we got http://www.cannonsatellite.com/, I am able to find more and more old movies that I really love. One of my favorite Cary Grant movies is The Bishop’s Wife. Cary plays an angel sent to help a Bishop build a troubled new cathedral. Everyone in the movie loves Cary’s character “Dudley” but the Bishop. Even the Bishop’s neglected wife enjoys Dudley’s company. Dudley even begins to have feelings for the Bishop’s wife, but is reminded why he is there and also that he doesn’t have a chance with the Bishop’s wife because she is still in love with her husband. I won’t relay all of the story in case you might want to see it someday. Old movies still have a charm that is hard to find these days. And, you don’t have to worry about sharing your love for old movies with the younger generation because seldom is there any bad language used or anything that would not be appropriate for someone younger. Old movies can still be enjoyed by people of all ages, and I am glad that I can still find something that I really like to watch.
