Sexy Dresses

Christmas, Diana's Diary, Products 4 Comments

Christmas is over and sometimes I wish it had been here longer. Time flies so fast and before you know it, it is the end of the year again and time to usher in the new year of 2010. I have opened my Christmas gift and it is 2 bottles of perfume from my youngest sister. I gave her ‘ang pow’ or red packet of money instead. Some of you might open up your Christmas presents to find personal gifts like Sexy Dresses, make-up, jewellery, shoes or just about anything that you can buy from the retail stores.

And last night, my sister treated us dinner at a German Restaurant in Tanjung Bungah and the place was always packed with diners. Some who did not make any bookings were turned away. Or they had to sit at the bar with high stools and dine there. The boss is the cook himself – which explains why the food is so delicious. And it is time for me to take a break from eating too much and putting on weight this season.

Looney Tunes “Jingle Bells” Sing-A-Long

Christmas, Diana's Diary, Entertainment, YouTube No Comments

This is a 5 star rating Youtube video of Looney Tunes “Jingle Bells” Sing-A-Long. Just watchh it to see and judge for yourself. I certainly loved it with a certain twist. And it is 7:20am now on a public holiday – what am I doing here by the computer when I should be still in bed, you might think. Well, being the computer addict that I am, I have to wake up early to check on mails or see any thing else to do before preparing for my working trip to KL later today. And I need to get a quotation out by today before the planned trip. So, working at home – whether holidays or not – it entirely up to you.

What to do for Christmas

Christmas, Diana's Diary, Sponsored Reviews No Comments

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am now having a short holiday in Malaysia and there are so many things to do such as checking out Bidazzled, go downstairs for some walkabout, watch a show or simply rest in bed. There are not many Christmas trees put up here but I am still in a Chrismassy mood. And now I am quite full taking the buffet breakfast just now. It is also my brunch for the day. Need to eat less from now onwards to lose some weight. It is very easy to put on weight at this time of the year of merry making and holiday season. And it was so crowded here that we had to scout around for a table to have our breakfast. And I was in KL yesterday – with much traffic jams and hardly any connectivity to the internet using my wireless modem. We were working the whole day attending to calls and looking for current project locations to snap some photos. Everyone is busy while others are attending to their kids. With more cars hitting the roads, no wonder the traffic was extremely slow. This is the time I prefer to stay at home and snuggle up in bed in a bedroom that I share with my youngest sister. No point being caught in a large crowd in shopping malls and while driving along the roads. Everyone is out for some fun this Christmas.

Christmas songs – White Christmas Lyrics

Christmas, Diana's Diary, YouTube No Comments

I am in a Chrismassy mood and decided to put up a Youtube Christmas song with lyrics for a sing-a-long like a karaoke session. There is more to just presents, Santa Claus, christmas trees and all the merriment. Christmas is God’s precious gift to the world when baby Jesus was born to save mankind from eternal condemnation. It is God’s reconciliation to men who were hopelessly lost in this world and to bring them back to an eternal reunion with God the Father for whoever accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Indeed accepting Jesus as my Lord and Saviour way back in 1985 was the best decision I have made that changed my entire destiny including my family and friends.

Christmas is Just Around the Corner

Christmas, Diana's Diary 2 Comments

I always look forward to year end because I love the yuletide season and the long holidays. Perhaps it is time to brainstorm for some ideas for Christmas gifts for your friends and loved ones. When I was staying and working in Singapore, it is always a tradition for a family gathering of relatives to dine in posh hotel restaurant and to give out corporate Christmas gifts amongst ourselves. But most of the time, I am on the receiving end as my relatives are richer. The food and ambience was good with cheer and small talk by the dining table. Everyone is happy and we also attend our own church services – remembering the day baby Jesus was born – God’s gift to mankind.

Sometimes, we also browse for unique christmas gifts in the shopping mall along Orchard Road or Suntec City – the shoppers’ paradise and lifestyle malls in Singapore. I still miss the Christmasy mood and the many huge decorations put up during this time along most major stores with lights hanging on the trees to brighten up the place.

Now I am back in Penang, Malaysia and there are no such mega decorations here unlike Singapore. I still miss the shopping there but I am happy now with a job to work at my home office – less stress and pressure to perform and to keep up with the Joneses. Have a Merry Christmas this year.

Season’s Greetings and Merry Christmas

Christmas, Diana's Diary, Products, Technology No Comments

It is that time of the year again for season’s greetings with snow flakes, christmas trees, santa claus and presents. If you have got a wish, tell it to Santa who might just grant you your wish this year. And you can remember this special occasion of Christmas time by using CEIVA Digital Photo Frame and have your photos uploaded online and see the amazing digital photo frame encapsulate your beautiful photos for posterity and down memory lane. What makes CEIVA different than other digital photo frames is that it is uniquely designed and offers faster upload. You can also share the picture with your friends and families for that personal touch and greetings.

Digital photos frames save you space from buying physical frames to be used on the table or cabinet. All you need to do is just turn on your computer, and view your images that are frames in digital photo frames for a complete look and for your photo album. They promise to last a lifetime, will not fade over time and can be view over and over again. This reminds me to go for some Christmas shopping but on a smaller scale. It is a time to remember Jesus who came as a baby in a manger two thousand years ago to save mankind from eternal sin. This is a time to share the good news to everyone so that they can have Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Christmas, Diana's Diary, General, YouTube No Comments

Last night, I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks for the second time. The movie was that good and entertaining. Alvin is the cheeky chipmunk, while Simon is the smart one with spectacles and Theodore is the small plump chipmunks who keeps having nightmares. Dave Seville (Jason Lee) was a down-on-his-luck musician who just needed that special something to make his songs sell. That’s when three talking chipmunks, Alvin (Justin Long), Simon (Matthew Gray Gubler) and Theodore (Jesse McCartney), ended up raiding his home. Their rise to stardom is seen in “Alvin and the Chipmunks.”

The computer graphics were superb as animators blend them with humans. The facial expressions of fear tell all especially the three chipmunks had to sing to Uncle Ian for the first time. This movie shows a father figure in Dave and money-making practical businessman in Uncle Ian who make use of the talking chipmunks to generate more cash from singing tours. Dave have had enough when he saw on TV how the poor chipmunks are so tired and exhausted from so much singing shows all over USA. This is a must see movie for all, not only the kids.

Genting Trip and Happy New Year 2008

Christmas, Diana's Diary, General 1 Comment

Today is the last day for the year 2007. It brings many happy memories for me in terms of making money and as well as some tragic news like the unlikely assasination of Benazir Bhutto on 27th Dec. She died a martyr. She was full of confidence and victory in the election just minutes before her death by a suicide bomber in Rawalpindi. There is just no explanation to all these terrorists acts.

Also today, I just came back from RHB Bank in Jalan Teh Ewe Lim, near my house. I managed to cash out RM367.59 from my Google Adsense via Western Union for the first time after one and a half years. The bank exchange rate was 3.30 today in RHB. And this month alone, I watched a few movies too like Alvin and the Chipmunks, National Treasure and Golden Compass. As I have promised in my previous post, here are the many photos taken in Genting Highlands during my trip from 21st to 23rd of December.

Merry Christmas

santa claus, merry christmas
I came back from Genting Highlands yesterday evening after 3 days 2 nights stay there. The mountain air was so refreshing that all the rooms do not need air conditioner. I will put up the photos taken there after Christmas. My second sister is back for surprise visit for 1 week from lecturing in Suchou in China. She will treat the whole family in Hokkaido Seafood Restaurant tonight. My youngest sister will treat us lunch tomorrow in Mitzy’s Bistro in New World Park and finally my treat for Christmas dinner in Fishing Village in Teluk Bahang.

This is the season to give and to share. Christmas marks the birth of baby Jesus who came from heaven to redeem mankind from eternal damnation. He is our Saviour and Redeemer. Jesus’ birth is a gift to mankind. That’s why you see presents and gift-wraps by the brightly lit Christmas trees. Here is to wish all my readers and visitors a Very Blessed Christmas this year 2007.

I came back from KL last night after 4 days staying in Subang Jaya for business and also to attend my friend’s niece’s wedding dinner in 5-star Nikko Hotel in Ampang, near to KLCC. Below are some of the beautiful photos taken during the trip.
