Today I got an offer to write and get paid from a program. I have 3 days to get the work done in a timely manner. Now with the scarcity of opportunities and global recession and 2.68 million jobless in UK, I cannot pick and choose anymore but accept what comes along my way. Yesterday, I received payment from the same program to my Paypal account. You have to wait for 14 days of grace before the money is contributed to your account and then you can start withdrawing to your Paypal. Well, for each offer it pays USD 5.00 and USD 1 is deducted for the transaction leaving USD 4.00 and by the time you get it in your Paypal it becomes USD 3.92

Quite Tired This Morning

Yesterday, I went to the new apartment to mop the floor, wipe the tv cabinet, windows, kitchen, etc. After than it was dinner time and then off to office work churning out letters after letters, quotations and invoice. I worked until quit late at night and this morning, I am feeling quite tired already. Today, I have a sponsored post to write. Tomorrow is my second sister’s birthday and tonight we plan to dine at a place serving Indian Food buffet. Mondays and Tuesdays are hawker fare, Wednesdays are steamboat while Thursdays serve Indian food and Fridays for wine and dine which is double the normal rate.

I am now in Kuala Lumpur for a business trip and visited a few places including window shopping in Sunway Pyramid which was very well decorated with Chinese New Year themed lights at night. I did not buy anything, but had dinner there. Rather a bit tired from all that waiting in the car and traveling. Today we will visit another client to collect a cheque for work done and in progress. And I got an offer to write a post for some cash today from a web site which is my 6th order since I joined in December last year in 2011. Hope to stay longer in KL but I have to go back soon either this evening or tomorrow.

Got a Few Gigs Here and There

I have a few gigs to do here and there from the various programs online. Sometimes there are none while on other days, there are a few opportunities. Today there are 4 writing opps but I give them a pass as I was more in the mood to surf around than to write. Sometimes working at home for too long makes one slothful, but with the need for some pocket money, I need to continue to be diligent to look around for opportunities. I have spent thousands of dollars on my new apartment with furnishings and minor renovations. The money goes out so fast like a river of water. That is why I need to replace the income that I have spent.

Will be Attending a Webinar

Later at 9:00am to 10:00am today, I will be attending a webinar online. It is a seminar on the web site teaching you how to make tons of money. 5,000 people have already registered but only 1,000 places are available. So I better be ready now and later log in as soon as it opens. It will be taught by one of the top 1% internet marketer who’s making epic amounts of cash from the internet. But my headphone is spoilt and I should have replaced it last night. Anyway, just hope that the stupid neighbor’s dog won’t be barking directly opposite my computer room. This is something I cannot afford to miss and hope that the computer will not fail on me.

Feeling Quite Sleepy

Today I woke up early, had breakfast of a cup of Milo and then I logged in to the computer. Still feeling a bit sleepy but I need to work and check for more opportunities on the internet. After, this I will perhaps hit the bed and turn on the air-con upstairs. I may bring up the newspapers for today and read it there. We have The Star and News Straits Times. I prefer to read The Star as it has more newsworthy articles compared to NST. Sometimes I have to drag myself to come to the computer and work while my body is yelling go back to bed.

Earning $$$ from Micro Blogging

Almost everyday I have micro income from blogging. I call it micro because it pays a mere USD 50 cents per 50 word post. Gone are the days where I used to get up to USD 20.00 per post because the American economy is not doing well and they want to reserve such lucrative offers for their fellow Americans, which I can fully understand. So, in the meantime, I have to lower my expectations and do more work for less income. Besides, I usually blog regularly for all my 7 blogs and while doing so, might as well leverage on the profit taking.

I signed up on a web site to offer services for USD 5.00 a few days ago and was please to get an order to write the 250-word article with links. As it is my first time trying this out, I will wait patiently until I received payment. The web site will take USD 1.00, leaving me with USD 4.00 and for service charge by Paypal, my net profit will be USD 3.92. This is my new source of income and I will continue to use this site and offer my writing services for income. Hence, it pays to be educated in English from an English stream school compared to Mandarin or Chinese schools. My dad was also an English teacher and tutor giving private tuition in his younger days.

I have a cousin who is in the real estate business and apparently he is doing very well because now he hires a driver to drive his big Mercedes Benz and chauffeur him around. If you have the right contacts, your real estate business can prosper and feed many mouths.

I Love Working at Home

Working at home certainly has its advantages. First of all, I save a lot of money on gasoline from commuting to a different work place. Secondly, I save money on office clothes and make-up. Hence I work in my pajamas or casual clothes like a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. Thirdly, I get to nap anytime I want to. Fourth, I don’t have any nosy supervisor to look over my shoulders and checking on me. Fifth, I work at my own pace, setting the time and mood to work. It is like being my own boss at home. And I thank God for my blessings with a dream job since early 2004 until today.

I get paid a basic salary plus commissions for the projects that I bring in via my web site. That is why for every enquiry, I have to treat them as potential clients and print out for my boss to read every day. As my boss’ laptop is spoilt, he is depending on me alone to show him all the printed emails and enquiries each day. We have good working relations and he puts his complete faith in me. We are a small company but a dynamic one where the use of computer and the internet is of utmost importance.
