After a few outstation visits this week, I need a good break and rest at home. I just feel like snuggling up in bed under my silk comforter bought from China. It is so cozy that I makes me feel like stealing a nap now and then. The sleep of a diligent man is sweet as written in the book of Proverbs. And the silk comforter was an investment since I have more restful sleep now ever since I bought it during my trip to China last month.

Yesterday, I came back last night at around 9:00pm. We set off from KL in the afternoon at about 4:00pm and stopped by in Sungai Buloh at Baskin Robbins for some ice-cream. I had a scoop of green tea and another scoop of pistachio ice-cream. They were delicious and spoon-licking good. We went to three different places in KL before coming back. It drizzled a little on the way back while I was driving from Tapah to Ipoh where we had out dinner in Kenny Rogers in Jaya Jusco.

Blogger has just added a new feature on the dashboard. We can now upload videos to our blogs the same way we upload pictures. We no longer need to embed the codes from YouTube. Though I have not tried this yet, I think it is a nifty feature to use. Maybe one of these days, I might just upload my own videos of a stage performance taken in China that comes with the delicious Mongolian food buffet. Blogger only allows video uploads of not more than 100mb each time. Most formats are accepted. Have fun with your videos.

Yesterday, I called up telekoms for the number to Vistana Hotel and promptly called them as soon as I got the telephone number to book a room for two tonight. The booking has been confirmed. The rate was RM195 without breakfast. Vistana Hotel in Bayan Lepas has the same management as Traders Hotel (Formerly Shangrila Hotel) near KOMTAR. These hotels are catered more to guests on business trips. Now comes my weekend stay in a local hotel.

When I started blogging in July 2006, little did I dream of making more money online. It was just to update my blogs now and then and at that time pay to blog was never heard of. Never in my dreams did I think of making more money through my blogs. It was easy and fast. Just write a few posts here and there, with interims and you get your cash one month later. I am back from a trip to Tanah Merah since last night. We set off at around 10:00am in the morning yesterday and the trip took 5 hours to arrive in Tanah Merah. The road was winding and there are hardly any stops for food or the toilet. In fact the only 2 there were closed. Such bad facilities and services. Thank goodness the toilets were not locked. I think this is going to be my last time going to Kelantan by car. I would not mind if we take Firefly low cost aircraft there in future.

This morning, I am in a blogging mood. As there are many opps on PPP and other programs, I am taking the opportunity to snap them up. Is it not everyday that you have so many offers like today. In fact, it was becoming scarce to take opps from PPP some time back recently. Since there are at least 50,000 bloggers who have signed up, imaging the competition to take up the opps daily. Almost immediately they are snapped up. I guess blogging is in my blood since I also work from home office with a broadband internet connection.

Afternoon naps are good for you if you have the luxury of working from home. Now and then, I go for my afternoon naps for a while. It is not good to be in front of the computer for so long, so a nice break would suffice. Even as I blog, I talk walks in between to rest my eyes and fingers from the keyboard and monitor. And normally after lunch, when all the blood goes to the stomach, that is the time I take my naps in the day. My sleep is important, and I don’t sacrifice my sleep for the computer.

Nowadays, to really earn money, you need to get your own domain for your Wordpress blog and not hosted on other’s site. If you write reviews and get paid through PayPerPost, now you really need to have your blog hosted in your own domain to ever take any opportunities. They don’t seem to accept blogspot blogs anymore from the trend unlike in the good old days last year. Thank goodness I have 3 blogs hosted in my own domain and am still able to take some opps recently. Your domains are like your online real estate. They generate income for you as in my case.

This coming Thursday, I shall be in Tanah Merah in Kelantan to see a potential client in sports business project. He wants to build a rubberized sports court. I guess the journey by car will take around 5-6 hours from Penang. I just pray for journey mercies for this trip and that nothing will happen to the car while on our way there. Most likely, I will stay overnight there before coming back. Sometimes you need to meet up with people to secure and finalise a deal especially for sports courts. They want to see you and check if they can trust you with initial deposit payment upon confirmation.
