I am contemplating of writing an ebook or a physical book on moonlighting on the internet. I go to MPH quite often in the evenings to read a good book or two. Sometimes, I will read on Personal Finance magazine that comes out every month. If the contents are good, I will buy them, otherwise, I will just read them at the Readers’ Corner.

I love to work from a home office and yesterday, I wrote 2 cheques for payment to SOCSO and EPF for the workers and have them posted. It is quite a lot of administrative work, having to photocopy the cheques and form and keep them in the file properly. We are in the sports business, so we may need portable stage at one time or another. Our client has asked this before, but we just promptly reply that we don’t sell them.

We have received quite a few enquiries on sports matters and this is one of the reasons, we have more internal competitors doing exactly the same thing as us.

As a girl guide in my school days, I love working and doing tasks in exchange for badges which I can sew to my sleeve and show off. Those were the days of schooling. I dislike troubleshooting other people’s code of thousands of lines long and to figure out the logic behind it. I guess I am just not made to do this type of job. But I certainly admire those hard core programmers who sit by the computer for hours doing programming and to create software for others. Thanks to language learning software, we are now able to learn a language easily and use it to our full advantage. Presumably, I am not just cut out for programming work like coding in C++, Perl, PHP, et cetera. Now my mind is more geared towards earning online by being a virtual assistant or personal assistant for computer work and such.

The gurus have made language learning easier for us and it is up to us to fully utilise the software to our utmost capabilities. Just like the saying goes, ‘Give a Man a Fish; and you Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man how to Fish, and You Feed Him a Lifetime!’ This is what my dad has always expounded to us while we were small and up to today, I will always remember this wisdom. We have all our parents to be grateful for, haven’t we?

I used to learn how to bake cake in secondary school and use the various Cake Decorations to make the cake look even more delectable and this makes an eye candy to whet the appetite. Stacks of bags of stuffs to be put away for more walking space, but they are now under the table containing my fax machine. Used papers strewn all over the table and they will be collected as recycled paper to sell for some profit. But for the moment, I placed them there as it is more convenient.

Behind my workstation are bags and plastic bags of things like CDs, files, empty recycled bags, papers, office stationaries, etc. I think I really need a makeover with a new cube and proper cubicle to place all my office stuffs neatly on my workspace so that I can retrieve them without much effort. Help me!
