Some News About Lasik Surgery

Diana's Diary, News, Services, Sponsored Reviews No Comments

I was googling around for some information on Lasik which is a type of refractive surgery for correcting myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. LASIK is performed by ophthalmologists using a laser. The good thing about Lasik is that it can reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses.

You might also like to know that Lasik is the most often performed surgery in the US. Lasik vision recovery can be as little as a few hours, but most see well in about a day or two and normally has no pain. US Lasik results data is available at http://www.usaeyes.org/lasik/faq/lasik-results-1.htm while General Lasik information and surgery video is available at http://www.usaeyes.org/lasik/faq/lasik.htm

Stahl Eye Center has been serving patients for more than 35 years. The Stahl Eye Center doctors’ patient outcomes have been independently verified by nonprofit Lasik patient advocacy USAEyes to meet or exceed the national norms for Lasik results. Fewer than 100 doctors nationwide have attained this certification. Stahl Eye Center doctors are graduates from top universities such as UCLA, John Hopkins and Yale.

If I have the excess cash, who knows, I might just go for a Lasik surgery as currently I am wearing glasses due to short sightedness or myopia as it is scientifically known. Over here, everyone is wearing glasses and myopia seems to run in my family.

What to do for Christmas

Christmas, Diana's Diary, Sponsored Reviews No Comments

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am now having a short holiday in Malaysia and there are so many things to do such as checking out Bidazzled, go downstairs for some walkabout, watch a show or simply rest in bed. There are not many Christmas trees put up here but I am still in a Chrismassy mood. And now I am quite full taking the buffet breakfast just now. It is also my brunch for the day. Need to eat less from now onwards to lose some weight. It is very easy to put on weight at this time of the year of merry making and holiday season. And it was so crowded here that we had to scout around for a table to have our breakfast. And I was in KL yesterday – with much traffic jams and hardly any connectivity to the internet using my wireless modem. We were working the whole day attending to calls and looking for current project locations to snap some photos. Everyone is busy while others are attending to their kids. With more cars hitting the roads, no wonder the traffic was extremely slow. This is the time I prefer to stay at home and snuggle up in bed in a bedroom that I share with my youngest sister. No point being caught in a large crowd in shopping malls and while driving along the roads. Everyone is out for some fun this Christmas.

My Titanium Spectacles are Ultra Light

Diana's Diary, General, Products, Sponsored Reviews No Comments

Last year, I bought a pair of titanium spectacles and it is ultra light – I don’t feel like I am wearing the specs at all and don’t feel any weight on my nose bridge. This is my second pair of titanium spectacles and I loved it. The price was about $1,500 but with further discounts, it came to about $1,300 with transition lens – those that will turn dark to sunglasses whenever I am under the sun light. So it can double up as a pair of sunglasses as well, saving me money from buying powered sunglasses and changing each time I drive out. You can check out the link above as it has a large repertoire of selection to suit any age groups and needs. I am sure my glasses with titanium frame will last me for a very long time as long as I take care of it. Moreover, the frames are very strong, unlike my first pair of titanium frames which was very fragile and broke when I accidentally slept on it.

There is also $100 discount coupon, a further savings for you if you visit the link above. I love discounts and always shop around whenever there are sales and discount coupons. I am more willing to spend if I hear of sales and discounts anywhere. And Christmas is just round the corner. Time for a little splurging.
