My dad and 2 younger sisters are Catholics and they attend Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, which is just behind our house. My two younger sisters are lectors in their church, meaning that they go up to the church pulpit to read the scriptures for the day. It would be a dream for the family to have a good time Visiting Vatican City in Rome and reflect on the finished work Jesus as done for us as He paid the ultimate price by His crucifixion on the cross to redeem us from our sins for eternity.

This is the promise we have as Christians and Mother Mary can pray for the Catholics. They pray, “Hail Mary, full of grace, The Lord is with you….” with the rosary beads. The pope is the head of the Catholic church and the line has been handed down from the time of Jesus. Mother Mary conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit and she is a special woman, specially chosen by God in the human race. That is why she is honored the world over for this special task.

My second sister has been accepted by South Hampton University recently to pursue her PhD program in UK. My youngest sister and I might go to visit her next year when she has settled down. Nothing is confirmed at the moment but this is the plan right now. Have a blessed day! Peace be with you.

The Avengers – 2012 Movie

The Asgardian Loki encounters the Other, the leader of an alien race known as the Chitauri. In exchange for retrieving the Tesseract, a powerful energy source of unknown potential, the Other promises Loki a Chitauri army with which he can subjugate the Earth. Nick Fury, director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and his lieutenant Agent Maria Hill arrive at a remote research facility during an evacuation, where physicist Dr. Erik Selvig is leading a research team experimenting on the Tesseract. Agent Phil Coulson explains that the object has begun radiating an unusual form of energy. The Tesseract suddenly activates and opens a portal, allowing Loki to reach Earth. Loki takes the Tesseract and uses his scepter to enslave Selvig and several agents, including Clint Barton, to aid him in his getaway.

In response to the attack, Fury reactivates the “Avengers Initiative”. Agent Natasha Romanoff is sent to India to recruit Dr. Bruce Banner; Coulson visits Tony Stark to have him review Selvig’s research; and Fury approaches Steve Rogers with an assignment to retrieve the Tesseract. While Barton steals iridium needed to stabilize the Tesseract’s power, Loki causes a distraction in Stuttgart, Germany, leading to a confrontation with Rogers, Stark, and Romanoff that ends with Loki’s surrender. While Loki is being escorted to S.H.I.E.L.D., Thor, his adoptive brother, arrives and frees him hoping to convince him to abandon his plan and return to Asgard. After a confrontation with Stark and Rogers, Thor agrees to take Loki to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s flying aircraft carrier, the Helicarrier. There Loki is imprisoned while Banner and Stark attempt to locate the Tesseract.

The Avengers become divided, both over how to approach Loki and the revelation that S.H.I.E.L.D. plans to harness the Tesseract to develop weapons as a deterrent against hostile extra-terrestrials. As the group argues, Barton and Loki’s other possessed agents attack the Helicarrier, disabling its engines in flight and causing Banner to transform into the Hulk. Stark and Rogers try to restart the damaged engines, and Thor attempts to stop the Hulk’s rampage. Romanoff fights Barton, and knocks him unconscious, breaking Loki’s mind control. Loki escapes after killing Coulson and ejecting Thor from the airship, while the Hulk leaves on his own. Fury uses Coulson’s death to motivate the Avengers into working as a team. Stark and Rogers realize that simply defeating them will not be enough for Loki; he needs to overpower them publicly to validate himself as ruler of Earth. Loki uses the Tesseract, in conjunction with a device Selvig built, to open a portal above Stark Tower to the Chitauri fleet in space, launching his invasion.

The Avengers rally in defense of New York City, but quickly realize they will be overwhelmed as wave after wave of Chitauri descend upon Earth. With help from Barton, Rogers, Stark, and Thor evacuate civilians, while Banner transforms back into the Hulk and goes after Loki, eventually beating him into submission. Romanoff makes her way to the portal, where Selvig, freed of Loki’s control, reveals that Loki’s scepter can be used to close the portal. Meanwhile, Fury’s superiors attempt to end the invasion by launching a nuclear missile at Manhattan. Stark intercepts the missile and takes it through the portal toward the Chitauri fleet. The missile detonates, destroying the invaders’ lead ship, thereby disabling their forces on Earth. Stark’s suit runs out of power and he falls back through the portal, but the Hulk saves him from crashing to the ground. Romanoff deactivates the portal to prevent further invasion. In the aftermath, Thor returns Loki and the Tesseract to Asgard. Fury notes that the Avengers will return when they are needed.

When I went to Singapore to study, my late maternal granny advised me to look for a good husband. At that time, marriage was far from my mind and my single goal was to do well in my studies. Alas, that was not to be due to much interference from my third aunt, a multi-millionaire, single, unmarried and very self-centered. She influenced much of what has happened to me now, coming back to Penang, jobless, with condition and having to start all over again. Instead of more blessings knowing her and taking her as my mentor, it was more of a curse than anything else. It was all an illusion and she was very thrifty, if not extremely stingy with her money, despite her immense wealth. Anyway, I shall not dwell in the past too much, but am trying to be happy with my life now which has to go on.

If you read the Millionaire’s Mind, a discerning mother advised her straight As daughter to study in the medical library all the time. The daughter was scheduled to register for a new course in the next semester. But following the mum’s advise, she got herself hooked by a medical student and they got married immediately. Guess what? She stopped her studies entirely and gave up everything, a potential to work as a professional outside given her smart brains. Her mission was simply to find a doctor husband, get married and never having to work at all. Let her hubby take care of her for the rest of her life. And they lived happily ever after, like in the fairy tales when the handsome prince come and redeem the hand of the bride.

Anyway, stories aside, real or otherwise, you can check out graduation announcements if you are a student and enrolled in a degree programme. It is good to have the qualifications, but better to let someone else take care of everything by being hitched. This is so that your worries are gone and you will be well looked after, till death do us part.

I Have Decided

I have made a decision today, but what it is, I don’t have to mention. But it is related to the increasing difficulties of earning online and less opportunities. Very few people become rich through the internet but most cannot work at home. It is not easy to find a sustainable work every month from the internet. There are far too many home workers that are willing to work for half the price or less from India, Philippines, Croatia, etc. And when you bid for jobs, you will most likely be unsuccessful, because there will always be someone willing to work for less.

Was in KL and Langkawi

I was in KL and Langkawi recently for business. Now I am down with a cold due to too much travelling and not enough rest. My colleague had high fever yesterday but bought some medication from the pharmacy and is better now. I might visit a doctor, because each time I have a cold and cough, it will last for months, the longest being 4 months despite several visits to the clinic. I think I also need more rest to hopefully recover quickly. Otherwise, it is going to be miserable. Moreover, there are hardly any more opportunities from the internet now and making money online is getting harder and harder, unlike last year and the years before.

Now I log on to the computer to look for emails and enquiries. With demands of work every day, I have to be Jesus supply minded and rest in God. I pray that God will put me in the land of milk and honey and not in the land of lack and poverty. Though God is glorified, yes He wants to be with us and dwell within us, protecting us and keeping out possession of evil spirits. The Holy Spirit will never share his dwelling place within us with the evil spirit. He that is within us is GREATER than he that is of the world. There is now no condemnation for me because Jesus bore it all.

I am now in KL for business and to claim our payment as there is a longstanding issue about it. Yesterday, after dinner, went back to the apartment and logged on to the computer to revised a quotation for an overseas client. Not sure if he is a genuine clientele but we treat all enquiries with equal importance as if they are going to deal with us. I just hope my efforts won’t be in vain. Now listening to Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation Church, Singapore. It is very uplifting and he is extremely annointed.
