Going to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow
May 19, 2009 1:54 pm Diana's DiaryI am quite used to travelling to KL at the 11th hour notice. It can be quite boring sitting in the car for 5 hours without moving much. People complain of jet lag, but is there a car lag? But luckily there are rest areas in between the North South highway for us to stretch out and loos to release ourselves. Kuala Lumpur used to be an area filled with mud, hence the name, but has developed into a cosmopolitan with high rise, plenty of highways and eateries. Cost of living is more expensive than Penang with plenty of snarling traffic jams. KLites are more impatient when driving and will not give way so easily unlike the Penangites.

I beg to differ on KLites being more impatient drivers. I had a rude shock while I drove in Penang.
