Happy Easter Sunday

Easter eggs
Yesterday was Easter Sunday and my church in Georgetown Baptist Church put up a wonderplay play with a short movie of the Passion of Christ showing Jesus before his crucifixion. It is also a time to forgive previous grievances and hurts done by others. Easter is to celebrate the resurrection power of Jesus when he died at the cross and he is now alive in Heaven. One day, when all Christians die, they will reunite in heaven and stay there for eternity – which is a very very long time. While it is better to stay in heaven where there is no sorrow, pain or death, it is good to make ourselves useful here on here promoting the Kingdom of God by preaching to our loved ones so that they can be saved from eternal damnation in hell and by tithing.

U did not really meant the loved ones can be saved fr eternal damnation in hell & by tithing right?
A lot of christians may have been blinded by the interpretation of tithing by their church leaders. That’s why u see the ones leading some churches can take huge sums from the congregations’ contribution & offerings to GOD and all to the kingdom of GOD and the necessary works being as their pay packet.
We loved to see our pastors being blessed, but that does not mean the pastors can take excessive income where they are already living in luxuries lifestyles, and go on saying that the blessings from GOD are so abundant their homes in the high class districts are not good enough for them now, and moved on to buy a bungalow and the luxurious car that they are drivng are not enough and now GOD wants to bless them exceedingly to have another sports car, with all the money from the church worshippers’ contritubtions in the forms of offerings & tithes.
Actually, it is not how much is too much, but when the amount & lifestyle the pastor is getting from the church’s money is a stumbling block to people, what do you think the pastor’s heart and mind has gone to?
Your church or my church can be one of the best in the world, in terms, of preaching, healing or whatsoever, & that’s great, but when you take all the pastor’s words and preaching as the perfect truth, I think you have lost your sense of wisdom our GOD has given you.
Like tithing, it has been twisted by a lot of great man of GOD, and that’s why the pastors from those kind of churches, who indulge themselves to the material things of luxuries no matter how anointed they appears to be.
Nothing wrong with luxurious or great lifestyles, but when you are trully serving our Saviour, JESUS, truly being called by GOD, how on earth you have the heart to take and take from the church’s money as your salary to own bigger and bigger and bigger houses and cars?
If that kind of success is what a pastor wants, I think he should quit to be a pastor and go out to the secular world to get whatever he desires.
Sad to see great pastors giving excuses that it is GOD’s blessing upon them that they can’t help but keep on taking huge pay from the church coffers. If a billionaire bless a pastor with a golden palace for example, that is a blessing all will be glad to see, not taking from the offerings & tithes in huge amount of money for his own pay when the pastor is already enjoying a lifestyle at the expense of churh’s money from the congregation.
Like the Bilbe says.’It is better to trust in the Lord, than to put confidence in man.’ That great pastor of your church & my church, they are but man.

Those who are seeking the pleasures in this world are honoring themselves, not God.(Luke 8:14) That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.”Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” (James 4:4)
