Just Came Back from Hatyai
January 27, 2009 9:55 pm Diana's DiaryFor Chinese New Year, my family and I went to Hatyai, Thailand for 4 days and 3 nights. It was an enjoyable holiday and we stayed in Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel which was so central with a huge shopping mall just directly opposite the hotel plus many other shoplots. We also went to the market where I bought 3 blouses at a price that I cannot get here in Penang for the material and design. Both my parents took 1 room while my 2 younger sisters and I stay in another connecting room. I have spent quite a fair bit of money doing my shopping here buying cosmetics from a pharmacy in the hotel with buy one get one free promotion. My 2 younger sisters bought quite a lot for themselves like jeans, shoes, cosmetics, clothes, etc. I think we tourists are helping the Thai economy during this time of the year. Luckily, it is not often that we do this kind of shopping, otherwise we might go broke soon.

Dear Diana,
I plan to go Hat yai, can i know Hat Yai selling branded sport shoe cheaper than M’sia ? I means original brand not fake or imitation one like Nike, Adidas, Puma.
