I faced a lot of pressure to excel while studying in Singapore for my A levels. The pressure came mainly from my foolish single unmarried aunt who gave me unnecessary stress. Being a successful lawyer, she thinks that people ought to ‘kowtow’ to her and listen to her foolish advise. As I was under some government scholarship at that time, she was overly proud of me. But at the same time, I was the second batch of students and was 6 months behind school syllabus. The normal students had started in January while I had to catch up 6 months of school work in a foreign country. Naturally I was stressed up and when I told this to my aunt, that woman ‘told’ me to study 1 inch thick of Physics lecture notes in 1 hour.

Perhaps I should have studied in Hawaii with no stress at all. I would love to stay in Kailua ocean front condo rental and study for my A levels. Hawaii is a well known tourist area and I am sure there is no pressure to excel like crazy to be the top scorer unlike in Singapore. I love to go for a Hawaii Travel and enjoy the idyllic lifestyle there.
