Labor Day – First of May

Today is Labor Day and it is a public holiday worldwide, at least most countries practice it. This is time to rest for many weary worn-out employees out there to enjoy quality time with their families at home – be it to watch the telly in the house or go out shopping together. It is also time to catch up on the much needed rest from the drudgery of working life in the office from 9 – 5 or even longer. In Malaysia, it is common to log off from work even after 7pm every day. While most countries in the first world start packing up before 5pm, here in the third world, we Asians generally work much longer hours.
