The Malaysian government is hesitant to admit that the global recession has reached our shores and we are in fact in a technical recession. This happens when the country’s exports no longer see any growth and it is projected to be 0 to 1% this year. Therefore, it is time to save money and not to spend lavishly. This means eating out less often, watching tv at home instead of going to the movies and staying at home instead of travelling to save on gasoline. And this might just make me sell my entire used stamp collection and gold coins given to me during Chinese New Year in Singapore by my uncle previously and sell them through eBay.

well .. when it comes to the government .. everything also boleh … that’s life when you have a government that is living in denial.
blurry: yes, somehow our system here is not completely transparent unlike Singapore which has admitted that it is in a recession this year.
The economy is really getting bad. The government don’t want to admit also have to already since many become jobless starting this year. The economy will not recover so soon. The earliest I guess will be mid of next year. better keep your gold coins if you don’t really need to sell it. It will worth more soon.
