I went to Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur recently and had the opportunity to watch Badminton Thomas Cup 2010. When I went there, it was quite late already and missed Chong Wei playing with Lin Dan-cing at the end of the game. Below are 2 video shots that I took during the game with Malaysia losing 3 straight sets for the semi-finals on Friday. By the way Lee Chong Wei was trained by a Chinese coach for several years before the Malaysian government decided not to renew his contract and to let Misbun take over and took the credit when Chong Wei was ranked No. 1 and won the All England Championship recently. When I saw the way the Chinese players played from China, I am proud to be associated with them, since my roots are from China. The make the Malaysian team a novice in their backyard despite the support from the local crowd. I hope some day Malaysia will have a Chinese deputy prime minister and the government will be fairer to all Chinese living and contributing economically in this country.
